Well, Yo' my portfolio homies!! I'm zoie, and it's super dooper to meet you!
Well, Um, yes, I'm yet another beautiful addition to this exquisite new blog, Portfolio.
I suppose I could introduce myself as "The Business Owner", Or "The Child Prodidgy" or well, um, shithead I suppose.
And because I'm incredibly lazy I will continue to tell you about myself in many short paragraphs...Here goes:
I’m not going to lie. I’m a true fashion girl. I live for the love of fashion. I survive off only coffee and sometimes I lie to get ahead.
I love white things, clean colours and old ladies clothing.
I love bowler hats.
I hate the new Louis Vuitton Collection.
I hate the Brand "Guess"...Mention it to me and I will try to rip your heart out through your kneecaps.
And apart from the above post, I am actually a very lovely and caring person and probably hold too much empathy towards people...Except for obnoxious fat girls with belly button piercings.
As I sit inside sipping tea out of antique tea sets, dolled up in a vintage frock and listening to smoochy, romantic, couples French music, people often undermine me by thinking that I’m Cute and airy fairy. Yes, I’m both of these, but I also dress in extreme shades of black, listen to dark underground progressive-trance music and swear a lot. Don’t assume the content of the book by it’s cover. Everyone has another side.
I’ve worked for designers and labels such as ae’lkemi (from WA), Abi and Joseph (WA), Megan Salmon (WA) Sex Kitten (QLD), Love in Tokyo (WA) and have dressed in enough fashion shows that I’ve lost count, dressing models such as Gemma Ward, Emily Cattermole, and have worked beside Stylists Aly May and Marcia Ball in many of these events. I've also had a few of my collections judged by Peter Morrissey.
My hands often smell like vintage clothing and antique silver.
I have a tendancy to wear hideous cardigans and hide inside, cooped up with a nanna rug, a cup of tea and my eyes glued to the computer screen. I can't get away from it.... never, ever.....
I'm currently having an 'argument' with high fashion.
So from me, you should expect a lot of light shades of pink, a lot of white, a lot of random sentences, a lot of references to this imaginary land I live in, alot of Op Shop updates, alot of quirky interviews and quirky posts, and above all, too many toilet breaks.
Over and out,
The girl with the bright black hair, and jet blue eyes,
