Paris Spring 2010 saw Lindsay Lohan and designer Estrella Archs taking their bow at the Ungaro runway. It was Lindsay Lohan showcasing her work as newly appointed artistic director of the struggling high end fashion label Emanuel Ungaro (a position she was reportedly paid millions for) - many of whom just came because of the expected spectacle.
The result was disastrous, the collection consisting of super short minidresses and heart shaped pasties peeking out of the blazers, a collection Style.com ruled as "a bad joke of a fashion show." Lohan called it the "hardest thing I have ever done" and believe it or not is rumoured to be sketching the next season’s line-up. Mounir Moufarrige, the CEO of the Paris flagship store, said his main goal was not for Lohan to create a beautiful and sophiscticaed collection, but rather generate the publicity the young starlet has brought to the label. And even after the wave of bad reviews, Ungaro's owner Asim Abdullah was defiant that either Lohan reignites the long-struggling Ungaro, or “we go down in a blaze of glory. Or unglory."
Lucas.
I hate her bleach blonde hair.....noone with hair that bad deserves to be an artistic director.....
